The final is within reach and it remains exciting! After Maximilian Dehn was back in the race at the Sachsenring, Marcus Krüger was ousted from first place in the standings. What’s more, our Mr. Cool aka Andreas Hering has been back in the Bentley since the last race and clearly feels at home there. Mathematically speaking, a whopping 7 drivers still have a chance of winning the championship. It’s going to be an exciting race.
The drivers are certainly already prepared, have had a look at their opponents and know the points standings of their immediate rivals as surely as the Amen in the church. As usual in the GTW, no guest starters are permitted in the last race. So the boys can forget about this external influence, but the tactics of tire use and pit stops will play a part in the victory ceremony on the demanding and treacherous track.
I hope for an exciting and fair battle between the riders and extensive discussions afterwards. On Sunday the 28.04. The showdown will take place at around 7.30 pm, we are looking forward to the spectators and are prepared to offer you the best racing.
