GTW 2023 – WS RACE 9

From Florida, it’s now off to Japan. Race 9 takes place on the popular Japanese circuit Autopolis. The Japanese chase pretty much everything that has wheels around this track, we meet up with the GT3 cars there.

The track is typical for Japan with challenging bends and a fairly long start-finish straight. The roller coaster straight, including the associated, sometimes confusing bends, promises a lot of action. The route will be an ordeal for the vehicles. The tyres will be begging for mercy in the many medium-fast bends, the brakes will certainly remain at operating temperature and the drivers will often perhaps even wait for the small mistake of the car in front.

Maximilian Dehn is still leading the standings, but the Vortex team, Team International Racing and of course the Mintgen crew will continue to try to be among the front runners. After the last race, it should also be clear that a Daniel Erstling and Jessey Monrose will demand their say for the first places.

I’m excited and looking forward to tomorrow’s race. The qualifying starts at 19:30. Take a look on YouTube, Twitch or register yourself as a driver in our GT3 World Tour.
