The drivers wanted it that way … 😊
There were 3 tracks to choose from: LeMans with its long straights and Porsche curves, Brands Hatch, the breathtaking British classic and the 24-hour version of the Nordschleife. Apparently our drivers are also a little cynical and need their challenge not only with the other drivers but also with the track.
On Sunday, our pilots will now conquer the 85 bends of the 25-kilometre circuit. This includes 13 corners on the Nürburgring before moving on to the 72 corners of the Nordschleife. The race time will remain at 90 minutes and the qualifying time will not be adjusted either. In 15 minutes you can therefore complete just 2 fast laps.
These key data alone promise an exciting race. In qualifying, the drivers will enjoy free laps, but will have to deal with the many challenging corners. The current training times promise an exciting race at eye level.
