This season has it all!
On Sunday, our brave riders will enter the 6th round. As many have already followed in the Discord, laps are already being filmed diligently and driving tips are being asked for. Many people take part with great commitment and do their best to help others. It kind of reminds me of the old DTM days, when all the drivers were friends as well as being on the racetrack and sometimes had a beer or two together. I’m sure some of our drivers even do this regularly.
Bathurst is on the agenda this time. After the Nordschleife, things won’t get any easier for the drivers. On the contrary, the run-off areas are now being reduced even further. The numerous blind bends further increase the difficulty factor. The cool saying: “Practise until you can drive the track blind!” probably has a completely different background here.
I’m looking forward to the race and to seeing our drivers racing around the track. There are sure to be plenty of overtaking manoeuvres and tough duels on the inviting route.
